Kenya Labour Market Information System
Our objective as a Labour Market Observatory is to provide relevant, reliable and timely labour market information to all stakeholders.
Specifically, KLMIS is intended to:
- Enhance the scope and quality of labour market information, and make it publicly available to meet the needs of different users.
- Help labour market participants make informed choices, and so contribute to reducing skills mismatch and unemployment.
- In particular, inform the career decisions of students with information on the benefits of investing in education and skills, and on expected wages by field of study and occupation.

KLMIS indicators present relevant information on:
- Nature of job opportunities: by urban/rural location, sex, level of education and occupation.
- Earnings and wages: by sex, education and occupation.
- Key employability skills: the skills employers value and demand.
